The Knoll House was originally built in 1985 as a true modern 80’s home. It has a picturesque setting but dated interior and exterior. The current owners wanted to stay in this lake community in Trumbull, Connecticut but bring the house out of the ‘80s. The choice was either to tear it down or embark on a complete home renovation. Our client elected to go with a complete renovation and as a result we were able to transform this house into a charming shingle style home. All interior spaces were renovated, bringing clean lines and light into the house while using reclaimed lumber to create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The exterior displays warmth with a refreshed look as it overlooks the serenity of the lake.
